@peterah7957 You don't need to be in a political party to be in politics. Eddie and Mick are definitely in politics!

@peterah7957 It's a tough one. I fully agree that government is necessary to make changes, but politics can't start and end there. Too many people see politics as something that happens just one day every four or five years, and Mick and Eddie are the first people in a long time to start changing that mindset on a mass scale. If there's no organising and accounting between elections, is it any wonder the government largely ignores us except for those few months leading up to election day?

@peterah7957 don't you think they're having more influence from where they are? They can focus on a few key issues as things stand, while party politics requires you to cover everything all at once
