@stevexyz1173 I find Republicans lack empathy. Many of them imitate the orange guy with their behavior towards other people. I don't think the orange guys sets a good example for people, especially children. If someone has a boss that behaves like a bully without logic, like we see with the orange guy, it often times leads to mental health problems for employees. We need a better leader than what we have.
1
@stevexyz1173 Again, you aren't adopted. You haven't lived that life. I have. I know what it's like be adopted. I know all of the details that people on the outside never see. I have nieces and nephews who are adopted and I know what they've been through. You Republicans like to ignore what's really going on and paint the picture to fit your narrative. It's just another example of Republicans lacking empathy. You just throw statements around about pro-life like it makes you morally superior to people who are pro-choice. And maybe it could be a morally superior position to take if Republicans were truly pro-life in every aspect, but they aren't. They fight for unborn fetuses but that's about the extent of their so-called pro-life battles. My adoptive mother who was also Republican for many, many years agrees with me on this. She has seen a side of Republicans that she just cannot agree with enough to consider herself Republican anymore.
1
@stevexyz1173 Your inability to see things from my perspective is a prime example of why my family and I made the choice to get away from all of the nonsense that is Republican.
1
@stevexyz1173 I've seen the Republican lack of empathy on a level that is just unacceptable. No decent person would agree with these things that I'm referring to. I don't think any of us are in favor of giving handouts to people who are just lazy. Everyone should pull their own weight.
1
@stevexyz1173 I agree. Kids aren't going to name him as their number 1 role model. However, he is still acting as a role model when he is in front of so many people. Children will still see his bad behavior and that isn't a good thing.
1
@stevexyz1173 Well, I've got to get some sleep so I can get up for work in the morning. I enjoyed the conversation. Being a former athlete I like competition. So I enjoyed it. Hope you have a restful night.
1
@stevexyz1173 Your last response is a great example of why I don't think you should have a say in abortion matters.
1
@stevexyz1173 What the fuck are you doing for the children that don't have families? You keep saying shit about being pro-life, but you don't do shit for the kids without families. Not only that, you disregard their point of view and what many of them are forced to go through in life. Your answers are just like a typical dumbass Republican and quite frankly I don't think people like you should have any say in issues regarding abortion.
1
@stevexyz1173 The role he plays is not what the majority wants according to surveys.
1
@stevexyz1173 That's funny. You just called Democrats out for not identifying facts and you did it by stating something that you just made up off the top of your head and is not fact. That's typical of Republicans. You don't even know what a fact is.
1
@stevexyz1173 I'm going to have to stop arguing with you because all you've done is deny facts and make up things that are not facts to use in your arguments. There's no point in continuing this conversation. You can choose your own opinion, but you're not entitled to choose your own facts. You've even stooped as low as dismissing the views of adopted children. There really is no point in continuing this conversation. I've got important work to complete today. Take care.
1
@stevexyz1173 You dumbass. I know way more than you ever will about children in the foster care system. Again, I am one of those that was adopted. You're the one that needs to do your research. All you've done in these comments is spout off making statements that are not based in fact. I'm showing your comments to my family which again, was once Republican and has now left the Republican party because of the clownish behavior just like you've shown here. My family has been very involved with the foster care system over the years. You should refrain from making statements about things you have no clue about and no empathy for the people whose lives are involved.
1
Your idiotic, made-up responses have done nothing but reinforce our decision to stay away from dumbass Republicans and vote them out of office.
1
@stevexyz1173 Your statements are not based in fact. Anyone reading them will see that. That's pretty bad when people like you drive a family that was once devout Republicans away from the Republican party because of your lies and self-serving behavior that enables people who are bad for our country (especially bad for children) to continue their bad behavior. As long as the Republican party continues to behave this way, we will never come back to being Republican.
1
@stevexyz1173 Democrats acknowledge facts and logic much more than Republicans have. Again, your statements here have just served to reinforce why we have no interest in returning to the Republican party at this time. Reading your comments are just an example of Republican stupidity that we want to avoid. You can make your own decisions as to who you vote for and we will make our own decisions.
1
@stevexyz1173 Again, you claim your statements are based in fact, then you follow-up with another statement that isn't based in fact. Lol Thank you again for reminding us why we are no longer Republican.
1
@stevexyz1173 Republicans are not a party of cheerfulness, prosperity, and opportunity. Republicans try to suffocate people. Republicans ignore logic to support their own selfish agenda, just as you have in these comments. Republicans ignore the recommendations of medical experts during a pandemic. Next time you get sick, try going to a politician for medical advice instead of a doctor. Let us know how that works out for you. Lol
1
I'm an Independent voter and I am voting for Biden. Trump failed our country miserably when he called the virus a hoax and watch as 162,000 Americans died from COVID. My father spent his entire career in politics as a devout Republican and he is voting for Biden. Hundreds of ex-Bush officials have stated publicly that they are voting for Biden.
1
@b00stedrust I'm sure you are very glad to have the internet because it allows you to behave in ways you never would be able to in public. 👍
1
@b00stedrust In the words of General Mattis - “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us,” Mattis writes. “We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children.”
1
@b00stedrust Trump supporters are science deniers. I guess that's also why they don't think inbreeding is harmful to children.
1
@b00stedrust You just lied about all of those figures. Anyone reading this comment thread can lookup the statistics on Johns Hopkins University website and see for themselves that coronavirus is FAR worse than the flu. I know 6 people personally who have been diagnosed with COVID. My former neighbor lost his father to COVID.

@chrisvassallo2372 No, I think you are. Here's your orange so-called leader you moron. https://youtu.be/BalDN6iGYpE
1
@chrisvassallo2372 You want to debate me on economics? I'll school you all day on that too.
1
@chrisvassallo2372 First of all, US politics is not irrelevant to people in other countries as you claim it is. Our foreign policy has effects on other countries that include but are not limited to economic effects and immigration effects. We currently have the strongest economy in the world (when not affected by coronavirus). If our economy goes down, it makes a ripple effect that reaches to other countries because we are not able to buy as much or produce as much. Do I think the economy is important? Absolutely. However, I think it makes more sense to follow the recommendations of medical experts during a pandemic. Why? Because if we open too soon, it is possible that we could have even more people get sick, which means more people die, and possibly having hospitals overrun. If that happens, we would ultimately end up shutting down a large part of our economy anyway to prevent further spread, not to mention the large number of people who would be scared to return to work. If we do the right things to prevent further spread the first time, then we can open back up sooner and avoid many of the problems I just mentioned.

@andresvalle809 Hey moron, apparently some people do need to be told you're NOT supposed to inject disinfectants. Your orange idiot didn't know and that's just one example. His dumb statements prompted people to call disinfectant companies to ask if it was okay to inject or ingest disinfectant if they have coronavirus. I realize some of you dirtbags don't seem to care about other people, but come on... you and your friends taking up for something so idiotic is taking it too far and not good for people. I suppose you need a reminder that we are currently facing a pandemic.
1
@sargetheshelterdog8291 I watched the entire thing, you idiot. You can't make something as dumb as the orange man look intelligent. I would vote for a goldfish if it ran against the orange man.

sean tellier Trump is the worst president in the history of this country. Every Republican I know is voting for Biden. We are Americans before we are members of a political party. Trump makes blunder after blunder after repeated blunder. Trump clearly is not cut out for his position. Trump doesn't even understand his role in government. Trump tried to impose total authority over the states by claiming he had unfettered power to force the states to open despite medical experts recommendations against it. Even after Trump was told about the 10th Amendment which gives the power to open to the states, Trump continued to say he had the authority to open which is incorrect. Trump has threatened continues to threaten military force against nonviolent protesters. Multiple military leaders have come forward to state their disagreement with Trump on this issue. Trump recommended injecting disinfectants to treat coronavirus on national television. Trump also recommended using UV light "inside the body" to treat coronavirus. These are some of the dumbest statements I've ever heard from anyone... let alone a sitting president. Trump lies about people and events to cover for his own blunders. That is not a good characteristic to have as a public servant as it shows a high level of narcissism. Trump ignored warnings from the CDC and WHO about the incoming pandemic. The CDC and WHO had warnings on their websites for Americans to "prepare for a severe disruption of everyday life" due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Trump was making television appearances claiming the virus is a hoax and no worse than the flu. Because Trump failed to prepare us properly for the pandemic, more innocent Americans lost their lives. When Trump makes a mistake (which is often), Trump doubles down and blames everyone else instead of taking responsibility.

Lemmy Winks Trump said "it's like a miracle one day it's just going to disappear and go away" in regard to coronavirus. What a moron. The only thing that is going to disappear and go away are Trump's approval ratings. Then he will be handed an eviction notice so he can turn the keys of the White House over to Biden so our country can heal.

sean tellier Trump is the worst president in history. I wouldn't even hire Trump to run a lemonade stand. Trump would probably screw that up by offering children a discount on coronavirus popsicles. Let's face it... Trump already recommended we inject disinfectants.

The average Trump supporter overdosed on paint chips as a child then dropped out of school after having children with their sibling. Someone had to feed those little inbreds.

@johndallara3257 The only ones that need to sob are the Trump supporters. My father spent his entire career in politics as a devout Republican. He is voting for Biden. 1
@johndallara3257 From the magazine Christianity Today - "We have reserved judgment on Mr. Trump for years now. Some have criticized us for our reserve. But when it comes to condemning the behavior of another, patient charity must come first. ... To use an old cliché, it’s time to call a spade a spade, to say that no matter how many hands we win in this political poker game, we are playing with a stacked deck of gross immorality and ethical incompetence."
1
@johndallara3257 Biden is without a doubt the BEST CHOICE for president. Joe Biden is a better choice for our economy as well. Joe Biden served as vice president under one of the most successful and well-respected presidents our country has ever had. Obama's administration repaired the economy that was in shambles from the mortgage crisis. Trump inherited an outstanding economy then destroyed it by telling people to not wear masks and kept claiming the virus is a hoax. Our economy could have opened sooner if we would have been able to get the virus under control, but Trump did not want to listen to medical experts which has caused our economy to sputter along and our virus cases to be the worst in the world. I am a registered Independent and I will be voting for Biden.

If anyone actually thinks the orange man has a brain, maybe they don't have one.
1
@madorsey077 According to reports, someone died from ingesting aquarium cleaner because they thought it was recommended by the orange man who thinks he is a doctor.
1
@madorsey077 I have 2 degrees and numerous certifications along with multiple achievements for high academic performance. I can guarantee I have more and better education than the orange man ever dreamed of.
1
@madorsey077 I didn't go to Wharton, but I will guarantee I'd score in the top of the class there too if I did.
1
@madorsey077 👍

John P All of the idiots taking up for the orange man's statements are the equivalent of tide pod eaters whether they have eaten a tide pod or not. They are just as dumb.
1
@marseillesvieux2987 How can anyone not be triggered in some way by the orange idiot? This guy is a shitshow.
1
@marseillesvieux2987 That doesn't make any sense. The orange man wanted to be our leader. We should hold our leaders to a higher standard than what he shows. If he can't take the heat or perform up to standard, then get out of the kitchen.
1
John P Actually, I think you're the one on drugs since you're the one taking up for someone who clearly recommends harmful ways to combat coronavirus. You're taking up for someone who is a horrible example for children to follow. I think you should stay away from drugs.
