  5. the platform is by both toyota and bmw , it is brand new and not used previously.   8. new Supra is gorgeous no doubt about it , you put that besides a Ferrari it wouldn't fade away. I am happy for you Tim. In my opinion, this car is good as is, but if a tune is possible, maybe make the covered vents open. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds and get rid of the unsprung weight, how much faster would that make it. Rc-f track edition 0-60 is 3.96 seconds and with Lexus(Toyota) adding a bit more horsepower, so it's not all about horsepower as many people seem to whine about

Magna Steyr built the gr Supra, not BMW, even the platform for Z4 and Supra was co-developed by both BMW and Toyota and the BMW Clar platform and Toyota Global Architecture platform both came out in 2015, I think Toyota was more involved in the process than people think. Yes Supra uses inline 6 from BMW but it was Toyota Gazoo racing who tuned the Supra not BMW and that was from 2014 to its release https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/060115/who-are-bmws-main-suppliers.asp I wanted to make another point about the inline 6 Quote"The BMW B58 is a turbocharged straight-six engine, which began production in 2015.[1] The B58 replaced the N55 and was launched in the F30 340i https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_B58 so again Toyota and BMW partnered in 2012, they worked together and went their separate ways in 2014, inline-six began production in 2015 as well so I wonder how much say Toyota really had, their inputs, their suggestion on doing things? I think people have not given Toyota credit they deserve. It may be that Toyota was more involved than we think.
