  22. 2012 Toyota and BMW went into partnership worked together co-developing the platform for supra and z4 until 2014, then parted ways to finish their packages. 2015 BMW inline 6 was released along with the Clar platform and Toyota Global Architecture platform. It sounds like Toyota was more involved than most people think. Who is to say Toyota didn't provide their know-how and expertise? Toyota and BMW are still partners
