That's just an excuse. People have free option to buy healthy food, but because industrial food is cheap, and they buy it, you say "they are not in charge of their life any more". Sure they are. Maybe they are overwhelmed by the amount of options. Industry allows people to be stupid, supports stupid people to do complex things. So there is no need to learn much any more. The leak of education is, what makes people dependent.
