  1. Cause inventing statements, is easier than real science. Mainstream is saying "we have no idea", "dr. campbell produces news from nothing". Like we know no medicine is guaranteed to work for anything, is common knowledge. He concludes (correctly), an infection or a vaccine is no guaranteed protection. He just speeks out things, that seems to be clear and trivial to any other, that nobody talks about it. Speeking out the obvious is not a sensation, but it might help some people.

  2. The hype or almost campaigning for Vitamin D, does not really give a scientific impression of the topic. If too many, out of a sudden "recommend" it, it looks more like advertisement. Why this was no topic 10-20 years ago ? Have we been so stupid ? The bad impression is emphasized, by the uncricitc perception here in the comments. Everybody goes like "hip, hip, hurray -it's like a miracle".
