  2. If chip industry can move to home electronics quickly, they also can change back, quickly. I think this report is pretty much Nonsense. Production lines had been closed due to car dealers closed for a while. I live between two chip factories, they are all up and running. Just ordered a new CPU for my PC, delivered in 2 days. Also the mentioned "delivery time" of "months" in the report is absolutly nonsense. Such valuable freight, with a value of about 5000$ per cubic feet, ist air freight and in 24h in any place in the world. Nobody puts the value of 10 million $ in chips into a container and ships it for 10 weeks on a ship. You know what's the topic in Europe ? Timber ! America and China are buying so much construction wood, furniture producers and roof constructors have a 6 months waiting list to get wood.
