 @susanpage8315 Better question is how would Americans react if she was arrested doing the same in India? Americans would start teaching freedom of speech to Indians.

@susanpage8315 And I whole heartedly approve that. But when similar things happen in India say an extremist from a certain minority community(hope you can guess which one) makes hateful speech and calling for g had in public and is arrested the US secretary office starts saying that they are concerned about the oppression of freespeech in India... So that is what I asked why the double standards? I hope you see my point.

 @lcastellanos8715 That's rich. Had she made this comment in India and been arrested. The Americans would have shouted dictatorship and anti freespeech in India supporting her.
