Cash is not and should not be used as a store of wealth. It's a medium of transfer and nothing more. If I hold dollars, someone else determines their value, just like stocks. However, if I transfer the dollars into real estate, farms, business, or another income producing medium, then I can be protected from currency manipulation. How? Because, I can set the rent, grow the potatoes, or cut the hair and thus determine the value of the goods or service. When I'm paid, I quickly transfer that cash into more stores of wealth. It doesn't matter to me if the federal reserve devalues the currency by a thousand fold. I will charge a thousand times more for rent, potatoes, or a haircut. If no one has the money to buy my offerings, then I'm left with a building, a farm, and a hair salon. That's where the wealth lies. Not in pieces of paper that OTHER people determine the value of.

rise up? fight?? For WHAT? Come out of your coma long enough to pay attention for the next minute......
The very poorest people in the USA live better than 2/3 of the people on the planet. A real problem, or so the freaks say that we have here in the USA, is that 1) we are too fat 2) we waste food. Next, people spend approx 13% of their income on food. This is the cheapest in the world. People can live in a camper, apartment, or mini house. The homeless are almost exclusively from Democrat controlled cities in Democrat controlled states. Finally, Senior Citizens today are the RICHEST of any generation before them, adjusted for inflation. Hardly sounds like a formula for an uprising, now does it? Before the virus, we HAD the lowest black, Latino, women, and youth unemployment IN HISTORY. Don't count on a riot anytime soon. That is unless the Democrats win in November. Then all bets are off.
