  1. I walk into a bank.. They don't know me, but based SIMPLY on my ability to pay them back, they loan me hundreds of thousands of dollars, based on my promise to pay them back and only charge a percent or two above inflation. I can even give it back sooner and save that pittance of interest. I love our banks. When our government bailed them out they paid back EVERY PENNY WITH INTEREST. We need to start labor camps for those unwilling to find a job. There are plenty. Gold IS NOT THE ANSWER. You never want to base your economy on what your enemies (Russia) hold the most of. Gold is the "wealth" of the past. ( when the SHTF I'll trade you a can of tuna for an ounce of gold, IF I like you) Land, homes, cattle, are the wealth of the future.

  2. The banks don't need to have all of the money available immediately, any more than your food store has to have enough food to feed the whole town.
