  1. I have a MB and I'm going to drive it until the wheels fall off. It sure beats making payments. I don't care what it costs to fix, it's better than monthly payments.

  2. Look it's easy. Those that TRULY can afford an expensive car, don't give a shit about how much it depreciates. It's only the wanna bees that are up to their neck in monthly payments that think about that. They should be driving a Subaru. I bought a "bucket list" Mercedes and it was the worst decision of my life. I thought that I was buying "quality" and superior workmanship! What a joke. I'm unloading it this spring on some bargain hunter.

  3.  @twhalen  No, I just made a mistake in buying it. I always do my research, but it led me to a Subaru Forester. I couldn't BEAR to drive a FN Subaru. The MB was a bucket list fiasco. I'm really looking at the new 2020 Toyota Supra now. It's like a poor gals BMW.

  4.  @klpinfl127  The rich (not the TRULY) rich, don't buy for VALUE. They're buying for name. Think about it. Exact same diamond ring at Cartier and Costco. But, is a guy going to open that box when he proposes with a Costco box? He'll pay twice as much for that $3 box that has the expensive jewelery name on it.

  5.  sdsteve1000  Financially you are correct. But, again what I said was that the rich DONT CARE about the extra money. You could go out on a date and use a coupon for a BOGO right? That might be financially wise, but I'd say a little tacky for a first date. Now, since it's ONLY a ten buck savings, you might choose to NOT use it on a first date. The rich feel the same over TWENTY THOUSAND. They don't want used. And by the way... They pay cash or check. No credit!
