  1. Our politicians are always late to the party. The current semiconductor rise is coming to an end. The place to put the money is not with fading technology, but rather with quantum computing. It's the Dutch that make the machines that produce the chips, not Taiwan. If they wanted to control a fading technology, they'd need to attract THEM here, which is highly unlikely.
