@helenl7967 ANYONE has a right to lobby. Any citizen can make an appointment to see his elected representative. It's just that they're too lazy to do so. A company employing thousands of workers, not only has a right to lobby, but an OBLIGATION to make their concerns known to legislators. There is no wage parity anymore than there is height, weight, grocery, or automobile parity. You have no skills, no education, no experience? Then your pay reflects that shortcoming. Handing them more wages for no more productivity, It's like busting windows just to keep window installers working. Don't give a man a fish.. give him a pole. Don't ask what you can do to help the poor, rather ask what are the poor doing to help themselves! Bolshevik Bernie cares only about votes, not hungry people. Do you see him working at the food bank? Find me who he donates to... you can't. Then Google "the giving pledge" and see what those "greedy rich" really do with their money. He's a fraud. My guess is that in Russia they teach all the little children to be good little communists, but here in the USA, they ALSO are teaching the children to be good little communists as well. The parents were sixties dopers, that are slackers, content with the proverbial pot to pi** in, and the children are raised to be the same. I see that at McDonald's staring at the change in their hand. They can't figure out why you gave them a five dollar bill with an extra eight cents. They see people with new cars, a boat, camper, and going on vacation, and as they lean on their broom, they wonder why there's such "wealth inequality". My parents raised five, worked double jobs, paid us for work around the house, and we got socks for Christmas. We admired the wealthy, and felt sorry if they weren't as happy as us! Who's to blame? DEMOCRATS!! To be honest, Bush Junior helped them too. The dems are flooding the country with MORE desperate poor so they can keep moaning about the wealthy.
