Ask any old people about retirement, and they'll tell you that a check in the mail is a blessing and a curse, since it takes away ALL incentive to do any more work. Give a bum a check, he'll stay a bum. SHORT TERM? That's OK.. but not a continuing payment that he advocates for. Here's the lefts goal... A graph of CO2 as respects to temperature shows that throughout history, LONG LONG before the industrial age, the earth has seen increase and decrease in the levels of CO2. Mankind burning of fossil fuels do little to change that scenario. Again, let me explain to you.. it's not the rise in temperature that's in dispute.. it's the cause as well as the remedy that climate alarmists propose, that's the basis for the argument. FALSE and MISLEADING data, and a remedy that is a guise for SOCIAL CHANGE. NOW.. It's a change of subject, but only for a minute... I once told a friend in a discussion that "cigarettes cause cancer" He said that that is not true! I said EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!! He, said.. no. if that were true then EVERYONE that smokes cigarettes WOULD GET cancer, which they don't. Cigarettes are a "contributing factor" to causing cancer, however.. there are MANY CONTRIBUTING FACTORS which can cause cancer. Think about that. Ask yourself how that relates to our discussion. If you wanted to make a case for a drought. What is your baseline? Month, year, ten years? How about using ALL AVAILABLE DATA as far back as you have measured rainfall? Isn't that the correct way to go about it? OF COURSE!! I'm explaining to you that Climate alarmists ARE NOT using all available data. If you choose to run under the Republican Party (or Democrat) then you are expected to endorse that platform. Now, when a group of politicians (the squad) hijack that process and vote AGAINST the platform that got them elected, and instead insist on THEIR OWN personal aims, and wishes, then you see what just happened, as the Democrats LOST Virginia a deep blue state. Republicans didn't lose the last Presidential election because they were abandoned by Trump and his policies. In Republicans case, one that benefits business and encourages them to hire and profit. In the case of Democrats, it's to pay off their loyal supporters. (union slugs that need govt. pensions and fat contracts. Both do the same. HERE is the difference.. If you see government money going to someone from Democrats, it's a NO or POOR investment in an unemployed poor slob. If Canada with a weak military, cutting down trees for export dollars, and (if ONLY you'd investigate) unfair and despicable immigration policies are your solution to free Healthcare, then MOVE TO CANADA! We voted AGAINST IT, instead opting for a FREE and open marketplace, such as we have in cellphone service. BETTER PHONES, CHEAPER SERVICE. Why? Because the government gave FREE cell service to everyone? You want the "free" service that Russia, Cuba, North Korea, has.. go for it. I DO NOT WANT the rich sick old being subsidized by the poor healthy young, that gives mediocre service to us all. NO ONE (say that again) NO ONE is turned away at the hospital for lack of Healthcare.

@eggselent9814 You are a very confused person. If I save and take a risk to create a business, how do I benefit by low wages? Won't my workers leave for higher pay elsewhere? So, if my entire life saving is at risk, and I work 15 hour days to become a success, then you feel that you, with little skill, little education, no investment, no risk, free to walk out the door.. should make what? $15? Why not $20? How about $50? So, if Biden has his way, and a million MORE poor hungry, low skilled, people pour across the border, will they demand fifteen too? Why not? Then a million MORE, and another after that. The middle class are where they are because they save, work two jobs, put their children through college, but you feel that we don't need all that. Just GIVE them more money. The poor are uneducated, lazy, drinkers and dopers, and will be penny less AGAIN no matter how much you give them. Germans are culturally HARD WORKING PEOPLE. Germans in this country are middle class and higher! It's not the wage that made them a success. It's the work ethics. Poor people don't have those same work ethics. Think about it.. if you can't get ahead HERE, then tell me which country gives you a better opportunity? This is the land of "opportunity" not success. Being poor is MUCH, MUCH more than just not having money. Give them money... they will be poor again.
