As a young child, I spotted an injured squirrel. A dog had chewed it up. It was laying there, and I wanted to pick it up to take it home to mom for help. I reached out to it and it bit me so hard that it's teeth went right through my finger down to the bone, and even cut it. I never got near a, squirrel since.
