One would like to think that LAWYERS are there to protect your rights and to help you seek justice, however as this video indicates, they don't want the small $5k cases, preferring class action suits instead. AKA a big payday for them. Then it's not HR that has a financial incentive to settle the case, but your lawyer has it instead! If they had an ounce of integrity (most don't) they take the unprofitable cases as well as the lottery winning class actions. In any event you'll get 60% of any settlement funds that you might win. Better to vote with your feet by leaving. Otherwise a cloud is put on your employment record for your next employment attempt.
