Haven't you bought any cheap Chinese goods yet? The break, explode, catch on fire, and become useless while...saving you money!! 😂

@jbbuzzable They'll find out what people like me know already. That Tesla accounts for next to none of the EV car fires here in the USA because of their superior heat management system. That EV makers that rely on Chinese battery packs however do catch fire both while in use AND during recharging. You want facts? Okay.. From 2012 to 2021, there was about one Tesla catching on fire for every 210 million miles traveled. For most other vehicles, this is about one fire for every 19 million miles traveled. Even if a Tesla vehicle does catch on fire, it is not going to explode like an internal combustion engine (gas) car would. The first would develop slowly and give time for the occupants to get out of the vehicle. Tesla vehicles are known for their safety, and there is an emergency door opener on every Tesla door. Another important distinction here is that the media often just reports on EV fires and doesn't report on the numerous gas car fires that happen every year. Gas is much more flammable than an EV battery or drive train. There is an article from CarAndDriver that further explains this, and one thing that was very clear was the overestimation of the claimed percentage rate for fires given by the AutoinsuranceEZ company. It found that actually, hybrid vehicles had the most fires of all vehicles and fully electric vehicles had the least fires.

It's exciting seeing a stake being driven into the Communists heart. Now we have to vote out our Communist party led by Joe Biden and his criminal family here in the usa.

@jbbuzzable I'm surprised to hear that. ICE cars spontaneously catching fire along the highway. I think the transportation department needs to hear about this!

@jbbuzzable Ahhh but how many spontaneous? As a career firefighter in a major Northeast city I certainly had quite a few car fires, just none from driving down the highway! Insurance claims? Yes. Spilled gas during an auto accident? Yes. Angry jilted spouses? Yes. Small smouldering electrical fires? Yes. Thirty years old cars with modified dual carbs and loose fuel lines? Yes. Just none from the act of driving down the highway. The keywords here are car accidents involving fire. Which is a separate matter from car fires. Also...don't mix up your statistics (aka Google) on car fires HERE IN THE USA (think Tesla) with those in China (think OMG my ass is on fire)
