Maybe it's because our pharmaceutical companies spend billions on researching drugs that are used all over the world on the cheap, while all along countries like India make generic copies that they hand out like gum drops? Maybe our hospital costs are so high because there's no months, sometimes year long wait for surgery and in some countries you are even denied surgery? Could that be why? People think nothing of paying 2-300 a month on cigarettes, yet they moan and complain about high drug costs. You work for 16 to 65 and have all those years to save for old age. They even give you a SUPPLEMENT like Social security and people are still "impoverished" . You want to blame that on the government or pharma? Go to South America.Go to Africa or India, see what poverty is really like.

@user-ti3vp9mt3z Bernie Sanders is a Bolshevik. He's quiet now that his glorious Soviets are going bankrupt. He use to rail against millionaires. But now that he's one with three homes, he chooses BILIONAIRES to moan about. Meanwhile ask him who HE donates to and you'll get blank stares.

@thetechnicanwithaheart1682 Three months in your case. Three YEARS in others. Many are REFUSED to have an operation that the government deems "too expensive" Like all aspects of socialism. Everyone is equal....equally bad! Bankruptcy is just a tool the poor use to NOT pay their bills. They're let off the hook for debts that THEY CHOOSE to incur. But, they're never asked to share the profits.

@thetechnicanwithaheart1682 Yes, but many are refused surgery. Others die while waiting. No one needs to go bankrupt. Any hospital will take payments, and beside what's so bad about bankruptcy??? You get to walk away from paying your debts!

@Gana1709 India steals more drugs from the rest of the world than any other country. They copy drugs that others have spent millions on development. Meanwhile, right now they are buying Russian blood oil in order to save a few Rupee and enriching the murderer Putin.

@Gana1709 Here are the facts... In the USA there is MEDICAID that pays for the poor and handicapped. The rich can afford private health insurance, and there are unions that pay for insurance all over the country. Don't forget that there's Medicare that pays for hospitalization and easily affordable Part D for prescription drugs. People don't complain about their $7 pack of cigarettes with it's $210 a month cost, yet they moan and cry about a $60 a month prescription co-pay. Now here's the REAL question for you.... Tell me what drug India has brought to the market that is a life saving drug? Canada? Italy? Brazil? Who is paying for the millions of research, testing, and marketing of these drugs? The USA is. Oh BY THE WAY........ Without insurance, the cost of getting an A1C test costs about $85.20.Aug 23, 2022

I don't believe that this "exploits" people! Now,as your case has already been rested, I believe now that you know the facts, that your case is dismissed. BTW..yoga is not a medicine or drug. Finally, if you would research what drug companies must spend and the years involved in bringing just one approved drug to market (many are not approved) you would understand the costs involved. Meanwhile, as I've stated Indian companies manufacture generic versions without authorization or payment and in doing so drive up the costs for everyone else. Everyone moans and complains about the cost of drugs, but when your mother, wife, or child needs them, you'll pay anything for them. These videos don't mention the multi million dollar lawsuits that these companies pay. If a drug is harmless in 99% of people, that last one percent can sue for hundreds of millions. Who wants to be in that business?
