  2. @joshing it up5757 Look, there's always rare birds that are "first adopters". California thinks that the whole nation has bright and sunny days! So maybe someday solar pays for itself for millions of apartment dwellers, homeowners will buy a new roof just to cover it with solar panels that provide electricity at 20+ efficiency for half a day for half a year, instead of buying a heat pump and insulating their home to the max, but I won't be the first to buy solar since the tech is going up and the cost going down. Let someone else save the planet.
