  1. The_Blazer That's not correct. They pick a model which accidentally got it right by looking in the rear view mirror, and then use that as proof that it will be correct in the future??? If I made ten predictions what the super bowl score was, and one was correct, could we count on that to predict next year's game?

  3. The_Blazer That's EXACTLY what they do. If they could know for sure how to model an event, there'd be only ONE model. When they plug numbers into a simulation, it's a guessing game. Any scientist will tell you that. It's based on assumptions.

  4. The_Blazer And your statement about steadily improving the models doesn't square with the video. They can't predict TWO DAYS ahead what a hurricane will do after forty years of trying to predict. They are NOT becoming more accurate.

  5. The_Blazer No, THIS is the definition of assumptions.... A thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof. And that is EXACTLY what they are trying to model. A whole host of events that scientists have no clue as to how they interact with each other. They create a large number of models based on "assumptions" about how these forces will interact not only now, but in years to come. Bit, one thing you CAN be sure of, and that's that the whole Kyoto agreement was a veiled attempt at transferring the wealth of the United States to third world shit holes, where it was destined to disappear down a dark hole of theft and corruption.

  7. The_Blazer I downloaded the PDF from the link you provided and find his rebuttal bordering on comedy! He has NO FACTS that change anything cited in the video. His "balanced diet" is a rebuttal of plants doing better as CO2 rises makes the claim that somehow the weather will be out if bounds for plants to prosper!! Doesn't that miss the point that the weather HAS NOT been out of bounds? That the data HAS BEEN FAKED? Of course not. All the points he makes are just his opinion.
