  1. There was a bill going through Congress that wanted the banks to report to the IRS dividends paid quarterly instead of at the end of the year. This would let the government collect what was owed by business sooner than waiting until the end of the year. AARP came out against the bill and urged their puppets to call their Congressman. I'll have nothing to do with them. They're running a racket.
