  1. Actually, it's a good thing that the hood flies open and the back bumper falls off. GM engineers tell us that a hood popping open on the highway, lends excitement to the driving experience. The bumper falling off is, specially designed to lighten the load while driving through large rain puddles. Brilliant!!
