  1. "China's military has become way more powerful"??? Is that the same way that Russia's military was " second in the world"? Or the "elite" Republican guard in Iraq was going to send Americans back home in body bags? Chinas economy is in shambles, its military is so dysfunctional, that they couldn't win a border skirmish with India! Their "high tech" military equipment functions like so many other Chinese goods, shoddy and unreliable. Don't forget, they attempted to invade Taiwan TWICE before and got crushed. All they really have that's impressive is not a bankrupt High speed rail system, or a sixty year late moon program, not even an aircraft carrier based on old Ukrainian technology, but a FIRST RATE propaganda machine that works 24/7/365 on purporting their great standing in finance and military! The Taiwan straight is a meat grinder. They know it, Taiwan knows it, and the USA knows it.
