  1. The price of homes adjusted for inflation has NOT accelerated dramatically. There ARE places in the country that have experienced a dramatic rise in prices because of special circumstances. Try a million illegal immigrants pushing up rental units. Where are people to put their money if not into a home, or second home, or even a vacation home. The stock market is wildly overvalued, bonds are paying zip. That's what is driving up prices. Demand. Grandpa and Grandma don't want to move. There is no crash coming. Demand is rising FAST. There will be a healthy correction.
