All the races of people that came here suffered discrimination, but most all worked hard, created business, educated their children and became the middle class. The Jew, Irish, Latino, and Vietnamese just to name a few, BUT only one segment of our society moans and complains and burns down THEIR OWN neighborhood because they can't assimilate. I had an old Italian come up to me and said that he heard that I was a landlord to multiple properties. I answered yes, and he said (now get this) he was PROUD of me as an Italian for working hard and getting ahead in our country! I never forgot that and I was proud of myself.
