  1. American auto manufacturers that run into these intermittent problems, just try to hide them, or do a cover up. The Japanese on the other hand, will move mountains in order to LEARN from the fluke. Over and over through the years, they've become much more reliable than our cars. Our companies are worried about minority hiring quotas, the Japanese companies are worried about making great cars.
