@rachelkristine4669 The 90s "classics" are largely dross, pushing unhealthy messages on kids.

How is Disney anti-white?

The irony here is you don't realise that racially and gender motivated hires used to be far, far, FAR more common... in previous decades, when white males overwhelmingly got hired over anyone else. That wasn't about ability, that was about racism and sexism. So now that we're starting to put that behind us and opening up industries, it's kinda weird that you've missed what's happening.

@darkwoods1954 Because the people in positions of power were specifically racist and sexist. That was their mentality. Understand that, and you can understand why some corporations try to cultivate their public image by going the other way. And if you weren't so pathetically fragile you wouldn't be crying racism or sexism just because a non white male got cast in a show. Because if you think that's equal to the discrimination and abuses endured by other demographics in the past then you got other problems.

@alanz3497 Which white guys and what did they do better? That's a very vague claim.

@poolplayerpoolplayer7430 Believe it or not, the mentality of corporate heads at the time was more nuanced than that.

@poolplayerpoolplayer7430 You know it's still run by old white guys, right? So... there goes your point, I guess.
