  2. I remember Schwarznegger, of all people, giving a great speech to this effect. He listed all different people who helped him get where he is and how the myth of the "self-made man" is just that, a myth.

  3. You're making that foolish mistake of thinking that expertise in one field automatically translates into other fields. And Twitter is more than 1s and 0s, you're forgetting the human user element.

  6. It's pretty obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing. He thinks that 'cos he's so rich and successful in one field, then surely he must be successful at anything he tries! He's not the first, he won't be the last...

So I can listen to the people who DO know better and understand when they explain the thibgs Musk is getting so wrong. I also understand that running a business is challenging but doesn't make someone the kind of god-tier genius that some of his fanboys seem to think Musk is. What do you know?

  14.  @bilbobluntz1946  Evidently they aren't, as Musk accidentally fired a whole bunch of staff that had essential skills for projects he wanted to undertake, so he had to try and entice them back. I don't know if he succeeded but that right there tells you that they aren't so replaceable as you make out.
