  1. While I am sometimes baffled by a biopic or period piece fabricating events... in many cases the truth would make for a more interesting story... I think ultimately we as consumers need to take responsibility for our education in this regard, we should be inspired by the historical fiction to go and research and learn all the details, the truth of the matter, for ourselves. If the creators can encourage their audience, remind them that this is BASED on a true story but that they should go and read up on the source material, then all for the better.
