  5. It's important to remember that we shouldn't think of ourselves as "owning" animals. We care for them, we bring them into our family and we have to do right by them. So with that said, I think that Pumpkin should stay with the dad when this lady moves out into her own place. The two dogs don't exactly get on and if Pumpkin seems to look up more to the dad, then that's that.
