I don't think anyone would argue that this guy did the RIGHT thing but I'm seeing a lot of judgement from people having to make assumptions, since they don't actually know anything about the the guy. Hey, not everyone leads the same life as you or has the same options as you, has the same confidence or courage as you to reach out to others for help. You just don't know so stop wasting energy hating this hypothetical person and be thankful that he didn't leave this dog in the kind of conditions that most Dodo pittie videos open with...

I really don't agree with the course of action the human took. If you have no choice but to surrender your dog then there's better ways to do it. That said... while he's a PoS for doing it the way he did, he's not a total monster. I don't think so, anyway. It's hard to be sure, maybe I'm reading into it, but his body language seems reluctant. And the whole taking a photo thing does suggest that this might be something that someone else is making or pressuring him into doing.
