  1. If it's true that behaviour can be bred into a creature and used to make them predisposed to violence, then the opposite must also be true. Generations of pitties shown nothing but love and stability will have an effect on future generation's disposition. Even we humans used to be far more prone to violence, but now younger generations in many progressive societies favour peace and civility. And here we have an excellent example of a couple who have cared for 30+ pitties, who've had the dogs around their infant, all without incident. You can point to cases where pitties have attacked and even killed, sure, but do the maths.
