  2. In fairness, we've got no context in this case. We don't know why he was surrendered and while it could be for a bad reason, it could be for a very good one. For all we know, maybe the first family suffered severe destitution and wanted the best for him? It's still heartbreaking to see him looking so dejected and sad in the shelter, to see him shaking in his pen like that. All we know is that, regardless of the circumstances that led him to be there, it's resulted in him finding a perfect home that will hopefully be his for the rest of his life. So while it is heartbreaking, in a way it's the best thing that could've happened.
