@PreservationEnthusiast Yes, I know what a plot device IS. What I want you to elaborate on is the evidence you have for the claim that The Dodo fabricate circumstances for the sake of "plot". And saying "we just saw animals running around" is not evidence of anything other than your cynicism.

@PreservationEnthusiast I don't believe that everything I see on YT is an absolute truth. But there's a big chasm between blind acceptance without exception and assuming that everything is faked or dramatised. You've got no evidence supporting your assertions. Not every video includes every gory moment of the animal's trials. Normally 'cos those are times when the foster is taking a much more proactive role than simply filming. However, a lot of the videos do in fact show many aspects of the conditions and the recovery. And most of the fosters and animals featured in these videos run their own social media accounts, such as on Instagram, where you get a lot more context than a 4 minute video allows.

@PreservationEnthusiast So your evidence of manipulation is... video editing? You suggested dishonesty on the part of Dodo and fosterers by questioning the authenticity of some stories. I don't have to prove that there's no evidence of dishonesty. That's not how this works. You can't allege something without evidence, claiming only that it can't be disproved. That's a logical fallacy.

@PreservationEnthusiast By your logic, you can allege any statement that you like, without evidence, and then it's up to everyone else to disprove it. That's the thinking of someone who is, fundamentally, lacking in integrity. Maybe that's why you assume others are the same? You actually initially alleged that some of the stories were faked. You've back-pedalled rather considerably from that, another indicator that you're lacking integrity. Do you realise how sick and insulting that initial allegation was? Telling someone that terrible thing they went through? Yeah, faked. That's just an indicator that you suck at being a decent living being with empathy. I've got more evidence to allege that you're a shitty person than you have to allege that the Dodo fake their stories.
