@angusgus123 Did Corbyn run for PM 13 years ago?
10
@angusgus123 So it's been 13 years since 2017?
10
@angusgus123 That so? You gonna explain how Corbyn losing in 2019 resulted in 13 years of Tory rule, then?
9
@angusgus123 So you were being somewhat dishonest in your representation of Corbyn earlier then, weren't you? He's not responsible for 13 years of Tories, since he wasn't on the scene in 2010.

@Rinkydinkfretboard That loss wouldn't have anything to do with a mass propaganda campaign launched by right-wing press on behalf of Johnson, would it? Because if that WERE the case, then that would actually indicate that the Cons saw Corbyn as a significant threat...

@johnf4279 So there's this incredible thing you can do in YouTube comment sections, where you read back through the comments to get the context. Give it a try.

@johnf4279 I don't need to check them. I wrote them. Come back when you know what's going on.
2
@johnf4279 Now its my turn to ask what that has to do with anything.

@danielbentham758 If you look at the leanings of UK press on the whole, it leans sharply to the right. The Guardian is basically centrist, PoliticsJoe is left-wing but is hardly as mainstream as The Sun or even GB News. Then you've got Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Independent, Sky News, even the BBC is heavily influenced by the whims of the Tories. The UK has a very right-wing press and they mobilised on Johnson's behest to smear Corbyn.

@Rinkydinkfretboard Then why haven't they gone to such lengths in any other election or referendum?
1
@Rinkydinkfretboard Such as? Give me some examples of when the incumbent Tories mobilised all of their allies in the press to make such a concerted, severe attack on the opposition leader with such serious allegations.
1
@plurabelle5 That makes no sense. You do know that Starmer didn't take over until after the 2019 Labour loss, right?
1
@Rinkydinkfretboard Oh, what a surprise. "I could but I don't see the point". Never saw that one coming. So if the Tories saw JC as a gift, why did they work with the right-wing press to manufacture the anti-semitism scandal? Surely that would have been counter to what they wanted.
