  2.  @noelsalisbury7448  People say it's about the wages but I've worked physically demanding "low-skill" jobs most my life. Some of them have actually paid pretty highly, all things relative. I don't believe it's the money, I've seen so many people who just lack the physical and mental resilience.

I don't disagree that the governments of African nations are deeply corrupt, I just don't think we're much better in Europe or the Americas. But yeah, many African countries are deeply fractured with poor infrastructure. Colonialism has a lot to answer for in that regard. And stuff like LiveAid and the annual charities I remember from me childhood, that was all very performative. We've (the Royal We) never tried to help in substantive ways. Humanity needs a mission. Something to bring us together and give better lives to those in need and a sense of purpose to those of us lacking one. I think working together to make every nation on earth a safe and fulfilling place is a worthy mission.

Also, at the outset, the party had both left wing and right wing members. But Hitler had the left wing members purged during the Night of Long Knives. They really didn't deliver on any of their initial promises either. So no, the Nazis were definitely not left-wing.

  21. I think if people are truly concerned with over-burdening specific regions, fair enough, then we should be looking outwards with an attitude of mutual aid. Why are other countries failing to provide safety and opportunity for their citizens and what can we do to help.

  22. Statistics show that immigrants communities commit less crime than "natives". As for jobs, it can't be argued that immigrants generally find work and graft hard. This has been the way for decades. I think people's ignorance and unwillingness to think critically about the whole situation stinks.
