@unionjackjackson4352 Drivers are. But RMT represent all rail workers, not just drivers.

@emm_arr Your initial response was nothing more than a "fake news" statement and you followed up by refusing to elaborate. If anyone is coming across as a troll, it's you.
2
@unionjackjackson4352 I don't know. But neither do you so it's a pretty pointless line of enquiry.
2
@unionjackjackson4352 Oh, sure. You know, you just didn't lead with that info and still haven't given it. In the words of my ancestors, "pull the other one, it hath bells on".
2
@unionjackjackson4352 Impressive that you managed to do that, given that their vacancies page is currently empty 'cos they aren't recruiting...

Who is "they"?

@emm_arr I've seen you around a lot in comments. Always saying basically the same thing you're saying here. You just call people "shyt trolls" and that's it. I think you're projecting. And I think you should prove the other guy is wrong, if you're so sure.
1
@emm_arr It is true and I do think that. Meanwhile, you make assertions without evidence and now you're telling other people what they think... Whatever the other dude is, you're definitely just a troll.

@unionjackjackson4352 Well, many of them ain't earning enough to live on. And the terms have been changed since they signed up.

As someone who not only uses trains but who also lives in a vital rail "hub", my experience is the opposite. Heavily understaffed, and not just here either. So I really don't agree with your assessment at all.

RMT represents more than just drivers. They also don't get to decide the wages of nurses. So unless you're advocating that nurses also strike for a pay rise, don't fall into the trap of comparing everyone elses wages to people who are criminally underpaid and telling us we've just got to accept it.

Yes, just be a good pleb and go to work, be grateful for what they give you, don't ask questions about the massive profits generated by your labour, you'll never see any of that, and remember to doff your cap when your boss goes by...

@Toastrackman That's just bitterness. Maybe, instead of trying to vilify unions and stickers, instead of lying down in front of your employer and saying "Yes daddy, more please" you could recognise that they represent our best chance in our current system of getting a fairer shout.
1
@Toastrackman I'm 33, thanks for the lazy ad-hominem. Did you seriously think that my profile picture was me? That would be a little tragic. They aren't making a bad situation worse, they're trying to stand up for working class people while our government tries to rob us blind and give what should be money for the national coffers to corporate interests. But hey, you keep being an apologist for a corrupt government. Just remember to say "thank you, daddy" when they're done.

@Toastrackman Rather proud to represent the 22+ year epic, about fighting slavery in all its forms, that is One Piece. If people think that makes a 10yo, that's their ignorance. Whereas you ACT like a child, with all this "blah blah who cares" rubbish. That's schoolyard level and you know it. So maybe take your own advice and get a profile picture of some thinner sliced bread if you don't want people to think you're so thick.
