@Joseph-cf2wd "Don't poke the bully"? So what happens when the bully comes into your home, forces you out at gunpoint and takes your home? Oh, but don't poke 'em! They get unreasonable when you poke 'em. You're telling me I'm living in a fantasy world, where what I'm really doing is observing how often a war has concluded with a punitive treaty that punishes the losing side, resulting in circumstances that lead, in short order, to a resurgence of hostilities within a generation or two. @Joseph-cf2wd No, Greece and Armenia aren't good examples. They had on-off conflicts with the Ottomans for centuries that only ended after WWI, a treaty involving multiple nations and the end of the Ottoman empire. Your characterisation of it as a pragmatic decision to accept a bigger nation's terms is far from accurate and skips over layers and layers of historical and geopolitical complexity. Your notion of pragmatism is actually just simple-mindedness.
