  13. Much of the Russian army appears to be fresh, inexperienced conscripts. Whereas many Ukranian soldiers have been fighting Russian separatists since 2014.

  14. Ukraine can't really make peace, seems their only option in Putin's eyes is to fully acquiesce to his demands. That'd be a very, very bad idea since then what's to stop him doing it again? And again, and again... Whereas Putin can't use nukes without turning every nuclear power against him, including China. It's daft to say that Russia only struck because of a poster. It's not like they've been very discerning with their strikes throughout this war. And no-one is pushing Ukraine into this except Russia. No, they're fighting for their existence as an independent nation. So I don't understand your angle here at all.

  22. What are you talking about? This "uncalled for" war was started by PUTIN. If Ukraine surrenders, then Putin takes over and absorbs them into Russia. And a clear signal is sent to him, that he can get what he wants by strong-arming and blackmailing people with the threats of nuclear conflict. So who's next? Which country will he set his sights on after that, in his mad bid to become the new Stalin?

  33. If he wanted to make a false flag attack to increase support for his war, he'd have targeted civilians. Something that would evoke sympathy and make the Ukranians appear monstrous. For him to damage the bridge, hampering his own military and making himself look foolish, makes no sense.
