  2.  @mariacrouch7109  Aside from incredibly inhospitable conditions and/or being so small that the required infrastructure development would be practicably unfeasible, they're also largely left alone on purpose so they can be havens for various wildlife such as seabirds. Don't get me wrong, I'm no supporter of the Rwanda plan but there's much better, smarter options for housing people in the UK than trying to build on places like the Isles of Scilly, such as actually making use of existing brownfield sites and infrastructure within our cities.
