@gsomethingsomething2658 Can you explain it though? Labour have been poor opposition this last decade, sure. But it's a bit odd, isn't it? Given how bad the Tories have been, and how they've gotten exponentially worse as time passes, you'd think people would realise they're cutting off their nose to spite their face.

I wouldn't say I "love" the prospect... what I want is to reduce, or outright remove, the power of political parties. I want to see MPs who truly represent their communities, not simply their party's interests within the communities. And I want to see a more mature approach to politics, that understands the need for cooperation and compromise. So yeah, I'd love to see real voter reform. But getting the Tories out and having a more balanced coalition would hopefully be a start.

@Derek-Trotter No. Different countries often have different reasons for experiencing similar situations. For us, it was Brexit. Which left us in a really weak and vulnerable position when other, more global events hit us.

@ambessaseway5594 As long as it needs to for Putin to admit he over-reached. Ideally it'd end tomorrow. But if the cost of that was ceding large chunks of Ukraine to a despot and making his gamble pay off, it ain't worth it.
