  2.  @johngeier8692  That's simply not true, I've seen that lie pushed time and time again by proponents of the fossil fuel industry looking to make an argument as to why we should be burning more coal.

  4. The planet becoming greener is down to huge replanting efforts (it's true, look it up). It's not highly unlikely that human action has affected and is driving climate change, it's just a known fact.

  6. My parents rely on solar panelling. They've got very low energy use relative to most families, I'd wager, but they often have more than they need.

  9. Because we outsource so much of our manufacturing to China. We're not innocent, we're just getting them to pollute on our behalf.

  10. The risk of contamination, with water going from a nuclear power plant to people's homes, is too serious. If something went wrong, we could end up with entire ghost towns...
