  2.  @dblev2019  Go and listen to Behind The Police by Robert Evans. You can find the whole series free online. He takes you through the origins of the different state police forces (most of them were slave catchers or strike breakers), goes over the creation of police unions (and looks at how the unions consistently defend and reinstate murderers, rapists and drug dealers), how they adopted the "School of Killology" (which is why they shoot so many people) and puts a lot of focus particularly on the history of Oregon's police and the naked racism with which they've operated. The whole thing is expertly researched and he provides all his sources, so you can verify the truth of it for yourself. Not to mention, there's so much video evidence available from the BLM protests showing that they were overwhelmingly peaceful protests until the police turned up and started attacking people.

  4.  @dblev2019  Sheriffs in 9th century England ultimately has nothing to do with the establishment of police departments in the US several hundred years later. Stop lying that you have and actually go listen to the series on US police history.
