@elysium76 No, you didn't.

Other way round, chap. It's Fox who've been called out for their lies.

"Because we always did it that way" is rarely a good reason to keep doing something. Times change. You now have a much bigger population, the logistics of getting it all done in one day is unrealistic.

Look, over there! A squirrel!

You're not good with context, are you?

No, you don't.

C4 is centrist.

Some people have to get postal ballots. To get rid of them and insist on people being physically present, you prevent many from voting. And it's vital for democracy that all can cast their vote. While we're here, can you explain why postal ballots are a consistent major problem in elections? Are you able to provide any evidence showing that postal ballots are being used for widespread vote rigging that's changing election outcomes?

They really aren't. They're center at best, the BBC generally panders to the incumbent government (that'd be a right-wing government at the moment) and a couple of major management figures at the BBC were actually put in place by the government. Even the Labour party is centre-right under Starmer. So why are you trying to claim that they're "leftist"? Why lie?

You trust the media company with a reputation for dishonest and spin?

No, it wasn't. The election in Uganda was marred by violence used to intimidate potential opposition voters and an Internet blackout during the actual vote itself. There's no evidence for what you're suggesting.

@larmo5633 Since I already covered the problems with getting it all done in one day, why don't you list the problems with how it's done now and we can compare? What should be clear though, it's got nowt to do with people being unsure who to vote for. What worked centuries ago doesn't work now because we have much, MUCH higher populations, different work hours, more districts etc. The world has changed. You can't keep trying to do things the exact same way and expect it to keep working. You have to change with it.
