Yeah. It means that C4 follow the guidance laid out years ago by criminal psychologists. Showing the killer's photo, using their name, focusing on the body count etc. are all found to factor heavily in the likelihood of copycat crimes. Is that what you thought it meant?

@illgottengains1314 Staying in reality, chap. Not some barmy nat-front fantasy.

@markjames3600 That's the laziest lie I've seen yet. And that's saying something.
3
@methylene5 Oh sure, I'll just take your clearly biased and racially motivated word for it. Its entirely to do with copycat crimes. It also helps avert violent "reprisals". Which, judging by the bile being spewed by people here, is warranted. Like I said, criminal psychologists laid this out years ago. They went to great effort to get news broadcasters to listen. That C4 have heeded such guidance where GB News have not is no big surprise.

@richardguest4574 This individual's actions don't reflect on other individuals, even if you want to place them in a category together based on their ethnic background, social class or any other factor. That's like saying you share some responsibility for any crime I commit since we're both white males.
3
Yeah, it did. Stuff like this has always happened on our streets. It's not new.
3
@studas2011 You cite two individuals out of millions and think you've made a good point. Violent crime is not limited by ethnic or cultural groups.

And now it turns out he was half-Portugese and had been settled her for quite a while due to his EU dual-citizenship. Its almost like the actual journalists were waiting to get the full picture before reporting on the perpetrator, instead of kicking off based on hearsay.

Given we've been multicultural for decades, supposedly "MILLIONS" pouring in, and attacks like this are so rare that they're shocking, front page stories... yeah, I'd say multiculturalism is fine. Its not the problem here. So trying to blame and scapegoat non-white people over this crime would be ludicrous.

Turns out he was Christian.
1
We welcomed you, didn't we?
1
You're sick. One man commits an attack, just like dozens of white British born folk do year in, year out, and you immediately take that and use it to smear anyone who you think looks vaguely similar. You should be ashamed of yourself.
1
What has a racist conspiracy theory got to do with this?
1
What a surprise, that this news story has all the little national front pillocks agitating.
1
Well, plenty little fash bois trying to use this one case as an excuse to go round bashing up anyone who ain't white. But sure, keep thinking its a joke.

@gfys756 The home office published a report, towards the end of last year, on hate crimes. It showed that over the previous year there had been 155,841 recorded hate crimes. Of these, 19% were violent. That's about 29,600 violent crimes recorded.
1
@richardguest4574 Then the issue is with our government. Failing communities, failing the police and failing to properly process immigration. It's not actually got anything to do with individual immigrants.
1
@UzumakiNaruto_ You're arguing against points I haven't made, or using your own statements as a source. I'm not interested in that. It's this simple; violence against a community is never warranted because of the actions of an individual. Doesn't matter who, doesn't matter where.
1
@UzumakiNaruto_ So I can hold you responsible for the actions of any British born white people? Have you seen the violent hate crime stats?
1
@BobBobOnYouTube What changes if you know more about the perpetrator? What happens then?
1
@studas2011 The objective facts consistently show how far right figures try to weaponise the matter of immigration to further their own political agendas. My prediction is that we're gonna have to do something about the far right extremists.
1
Because that's who you really are, isn't it. You don't care about the lives that have been lost. You just see an opportunity to try and recruit more people to your ideology. Because the far right have been so kind to people throughout history, they'd never kill people in the streets...
1
@spudspuddy What do you think that means?
1
And we know why you're so obsessed with that.
1
This man acted alone. Who is "they"?
