He can, but people can react to that however they please.

@samsonstrong965 Why is that always the answer? It's so childish, pretending like you know something significant but then refusing to elaborate on it.
2
Kanye is hanging out with a known white supremacist saying he liked Hitler, yet you're over here saying "no, no, he was just trying to prove a point".
1
@DiegoGonzalez-pp2cd Neither. And no, it doesn't make him crazy. It makes him a Nazi sympathiser which is a whole hell of a lot worse. And now you're out here defending his actions. What can I make of that? What are your feelings around the subject of Nazis?
1
@DiegoGonzalez-pp2cd The difference is, you're comparing a fictional sky fairy with a very real person. You can't generalise his point for him when he was so specific in his support. So why defend him?
1
Why?
1
Israel =/= Jews
1
In summary; the most generous take on this is that Kanye is an ignorant idiot.
1
Seems lkike they've chosen to talk themselves into it instead.
1
He straight-up told you what his point was. Why are you reaching so hard to try and defend him?
1
@tarikcollins778 Yeah, I do. 'Cos you're out here saying "no, this is what's he's really doing" and trying to spin this as him making a point on censorship. That's defending him. What would you call it?
1
@tarikcollins778 You consider that a monologue? The projection is real with you.
1
@tarikcollins778 You're not using that word right at all. Did you actually have a point with YOUR monologue?
1
@tarikcollins778 Your exact words were "I'm goin to think Ye is trolling LOL i really thing he's trying to make a point on censorship". How is that not you defending him and trying to spin what he's saying?
1
@tarikcollins778 I misquoted me? What are you on, kid? If I'm the "triggered" one, how come you're the one who can't seem to form a cogent comment? What do you even think the context for this is?
1
Fascism, and Nazism by extension, are far-right ideologies. Their hatred of communism is well documented.
1
@justingutube You don't know much about the history of Nazism then. They outlawed socialism and, while they quickly moved to targeting ethnic groups, initial mass executions were of communists and socialists. Support for the Nazis, especially in the US, came from leading capitalist and right-wing figures. You're out of your depth on this topic, it sounds like all your knowledge on the matter comes from Fox "News" propaganda.
1
@justingutube Dunno what "The View" is. Did you have anything worthwhile to say or is that your way of conceding that you're talking about something you have little to no understanding of?
1
@justingutube Yeah, you got nothing.
1
I think you're deeply ignorant of history and why Jewish people ended up over-represented in certain fields/industries after reading that.
1
@arfumobiscali5571 I wouldn't call you a mobster. Plenty of other names, sure. But not a mobster.
1
@arfumobiscali5571 I was referring to the history of prejudice against Jewish people that has led them predominantly to work in certain industries... which you didn't address at all, so you still seem ignorant of that. As for your little rant there... you'll find that kind of nonsense in most religions. But I've never met a Jewish person that actually believes that, just like I've never met a Christian that goes for the whole "sell you daughter into slavery" thing or a Muslim who thinks I'm an infidel who should be stoned. Do some exist? Sure. But Jewish people hardly have a monopoly on mental ideology. So you're using some archaic, rather esoteric and much-forgotten dogma to justify calling an entire ethnic group evil.

I'd like to recommend checking out the Behind The Bastards podcast episode, "The Non-Nazi Bastards Who Helped Hitler Into Power". It talks about how Hitler and the budding Nazi party were aided by a few attitudes amongst non-Nazis, largely either seeing them as a joke, as something that would blow over or a convenient tool to tank the reputation of the political right-wing. And we all know how that one turned out. We can't afford to make those mistakes when dealing with populist fascist figures. They may look and sound stupid, because they are. But that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous and taking that threat seriously might help us avert repeating history. We're seeing a worrying rise in right-wing, openly fascistic movements throughout the world. We can't treat it as nothing.
1
@samsonstrong965 Whose ancestors?
1
@samsonstrong965 Prince? Where is he the prince of?
1
@samsonstrong965 Huh, turns out your actual answer was a lot more childish.
1
@samsonstrong965 You should.
1
@samsonstrong965 Is this one of your Prince things?
1
The only good thing Hitler did; he killed Hitler.
1
Oh yes, Corbyn, the well-known anti-racism campaigner.
1
The fact he's seemingly being puppeted by Fuentes would support that.
1
Nah man, he's been barking up this same anti-semitic tree for a while. If it was a comment totally out of left-field, maybe you'd have an argument. But this is just a natural escalation of what he's been pushing for a while now.
1
@RonJon100 Do you think it's fine to just separate all historical context from a figure, group or ideology?
1
@RonJon100 That's a really pathetic argument to make, given he's sat there specifically denying the holocaust. If he wanted to say he loves all the people regardless of boundaries, he could have literally said that. Instead, he's hanging out with known Hitler-fanboy Nick Fuentes and escalating his anti-semitic ranting to holocaust denial. How twisted is your brain that you're defending him like this?
1
@RonJon100 Sounds more like you're desperately searching for some kind of justification or defense for him. Thinking critically, here's a guy who's been spouting anti-semitic viewpoints for a while, now he's hanging out with Nick Fuentes of all people and stating that he likes Hitler and doesn't want to think of the Nazis as evil. At best, he's mentally snapped and is being manipulated. At the very best. What other perspectives do you think there are?
1
@RonJon100 What one personal trainer says or does in no way justifies such broad discrimination. And what does loving every person according to the bible have to do with denial of the holocaust?
1
@RonJon100 You didn't imply that at all, you made a different point about some trainer who allegedly had threatened to drug Kanye. So now you're saying what, that someone DID drug Kanye and made him say all this crazy stuff? That's ridiculous, you might as well say that maybe Kanye was abducted by aliens who made him say it. You've got just as much evidence of that being the case, which is to say none. All of this to avoid acknowledging what's right before your eyes.
1
@RonJon100 I'm begging you, am I? There's an enormous logical leap between his trainer threatening to drug him and Kanye actually having been drugged to promote Nazism on Alex Jones show. Does that mean you think that Kanye's former trainer wanted him to make these statements? It's all a grand conspiracy? And can you hear how dumb that sounds?
1
@RonJon100 I have nothing to apologise for. Being critical of Nazi sympathisers? Not a problem. Being an apologist for Nazi sympathisers? Hiding behind the skirts of religion doesn't make that any less awful.
