@andyj845 Not sure why you're getting yourself so twisted up trying to figure this out. If a public figure knowingly spreads misinformation and encourages people to act on it, and over the next week people DO act upon it and commit crimes that endanger other people... do you think the person who knowingly spread the misinformation is responsible?

@sergeant_salty While you seem so scared to pick up a book and learn something. Since you need it all spelled out, you said fascism requires a dictator. This is not true. The history of American fascism through the 20th century well demonstrates that. The War On Everyone is about precisely that topic. If you listen to the audio book, you will learn this.

@sergeant_salty For someone who claims to care about the "truth" in history, your own knowledge seems a little spotty. Check out "The War On Everyone" by Robert Evans, it's a free audiobook that you can get from it's own website. Not super long, either. You could easily get through it in an afternoon.

Fascism 101. Gotta have an enemy, an "other" to point at. Gotta convince as many people as possible that their society is being destroyed by within. Trans folk have always been a target for contemporary fascism.
