@FranciscoGonzalez-ob1hj Way to out yourself there..

What you're doing here reminds me of how Trump supporters would invent daft narratives to justify and explain Trump's behaviour, essentially making him out to be a 4d chess playing genius... only for him to come out with something a few days later that proved them wrong and sent them scrabbling for a new excuse. That's what you sound like right now. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

@BracaPhoto You're laughing. 'Cos none of it affects you. Most of us are not laughing. We understand how serious this kind of misinformation can be.
3
@BracaPhoto So what you're saying is you want a platform which let's misinformation roam freely so you can choose which lie you like the sound of?
3
Which would be great if he was a child playing childish games. When you grow up, Dan, you'll learn that actions, even ones with puerile motivations, have consequences.
2
@danlopez.3592 I dunno what you think any of that proves other than my point. Musk is acting like a child.
2
Ever heard the story about the boy who cried wolf? It cuts both ways. If you decide to never believe someone on principle, don't be shocked if you get a metaphorical smack in the head 'cos you ignored a warning.
2
That's dishonest. The pee tapes were one aspect of the investigation, not the sole focus of it. That was just a sensationalist part of it that was easy to turn into headlines.
2
@logic356 That's a lot of falsehoods to peddle in one go. But I don't think you're fooling anyone. Funny how you're trying to say it was Dems who colluded with the Russian government, despite there being clear proof that the GRU repeatedly reached out to Trump's campaign and worked with several of his people to spread disinformation. The pee tapes was just one small allegation within that whole investigation, it wasn't the important part, just one that media outlets could get easy clicks out of. How true was that particular story? No idea. Probably won't ever know. Doesn't matter. At this point, you're trying to use misinformation misinformation deflect.
2
@logic356 I literally answered that yet you're acting like I haven't and talking literal fantasy. Are you denying the Mueller Report exists or something? I dunno what your angle is here, you're either crazy, an idiot or just a liar. Or all three. Have fun with that.

Like he did with those cave rescuers in Thailand?

But conservatives don't favour free speech. Just their own speech. Don't act like they're above censorship either.
2
@superscaryrussianbot846 Your initial question is dishonest. When social media platforms, private companies, have restricted access to certain individuals it's not because of their politician affiliation. If that was true, there wouldn't be literal Nazi groups operating on Twitter. What gets people shut down... again, by a private company who can decide what they do and don't want on their platform, without contravening freedom of speech at all... when people get shut down its because of the content of what they're saying. So the entire way you're framing this is dishonest. Whereas on the plain censorship front? Trying to decide what should and shouldn't be allowed when it comes to musical lyrics, sexual content in film or TV, even what it's acceptable to teach children... that's an area that conservatives know quite a bit about.

He was born in Pretoria, South Africa, so you don't have to worry about him running for president.
1
@danlopez.3592 Tell you what, you get your story straight and figure out what paper it was in, then I'll criticise them on the same basis that I'm criticising Musk. Then you can grow up and admit that Musk is being childish and that you, revelling in his behaviour, alongside him.
1
@BracaPhoto Erm... no. Study history and you see that there's what happened and then there's some people lying about it for their own gain. There's no such thing as diversity of the truth. What I find curious is your choice of example... Santa. I know that there's no "dangerous thought police" coming to tell you off for believing in Santa. What is it that you want to feel free to say and express, that you don't feel safe to do so?

@logic356 Not everything was a lie, though. Page and various other members of Trump's campaign team WERE in contact with the Russian government, who favoured Trump over Clinton and who did intefere in the subsequent election. It's also not true that the Clinton campaign paid the Russian government to compile the Steele dossier. Steele was working for FusionGPS, a US company. That's who the Clinton/DNC paid. Which immediately shoots a hole in your "therefore". I dunno where you got that idea from. It doesn't even make any sense, why would Clinton pay Russians to help Trump win? There's no logic to that. And we know quite a bit about the Russian government's outreach to the Trump campaign, thanks to the Mueller report. See, that's why Trump allegedly getting peed on took 2 years to investigate. Because the rabbit hole went pretty deep and lead to much bigger, more important revelations. Whereas this proposed conspiracy theory makes no sense and is full of holes. Doesn't even take 2 days to pull it apart.

Just bear your proud stance in mind if any of those channels you enjoy end up going away because of too many people sharing that attitude.

@Dance_Fanatic From the way you talk about this, it's clear you've thought about it a lot and in depth. So is it fair to say its really about you? A little bitter about not enough people subscribing to your own content, so much so that the part of the video most people don't even notice provoked you to share a whole load of "who the fuck cares"?
1
@Dance_Fanatic I'm just going off what you're putting out.
1
@Dance_Fanatic Do you know what the word "projection" means, in this context? If you want a sentence-by-sentence breakdown of how your original comment belies your bitterness... ask me at the weekend. Short version? After watching the video you didn't have a comment about the topic. No, the thing forefront in your mind was the bit where he "begs" for people to subscribe, that instead they should "whine" to YouTube for their system. Such disdain over something that truly doesn't matter. Such a desire to let everyone who never asked how intensely you feel about such a trivial thing. There's a bee under your bonnet. Paints a pretty clear picture. You can fool yourself, sure. Fooling other people? That's harder.
1
@Dance_Fanatic Does using your brain a little and then typing a few words seem like a lot of effort to you?
1
@superscaryrussianbot846 When did I say anything about what he can and can't say on the platform he owns? He can say what he likes. People can ridicule him for it if they like. Don't try and strawman me. I'm not a leftist. And the way you didn't address anything else I said, particularly about your dishonest framing of the matter, is very telling.
1
@superscaryrussianbot846 I'm not on anyone's "side". But sure, you keep trying to deflect from the fact you're full of shit.
