@douglasw5371 I think you're being a bit hypocritical, you're saying we should wait and see what the investigation yields before making judgments. Then you turn around and make a judgement by providing excuses and defending the company. Doesn't sit with me. I mentioned it elsewhere, but have you ever heard of the Bhopal disaster? A lot of parallels already.

@douglasw5371 Except no-one is doing that. But you're coming in and shouting down discussion around current available info and making excuses for the company despite their already being good reason to suspect cost cutting having played a roll. If you truly believed in waiting to pass judgement, you'd be keeping your mouth shut instead of taking a side.

Having recently learned a fair bit about the Bhopal disaster in India, a result of corporate greed and negligence, its hard to look at this event as anything other. Blaming "wokeism" for companies cutting costs by removing safety features, mandatory training and cutting staff numbers is a hell of a reach. And Charlie Kirk clearly doesn't know about Bhopal, doesn't know how little skin colour actually matters when money is at stake. Doesn't know what "prove" means either... I guess we'll add it to the long, long list of things Charlie doesn't know.
