@vhawk1951kl I'd imagine it does when it comes to fundamentally mysoginistic societies.

Your whole rant falls down at the first hurdle, you've failed to demonstrate that politics is a form of religion. For one thing, it's frequently questioned, debated and refined.

@jim-es8qk The person trying to tell me that famous science-FICTION novel 1984 is actually a historical account is also trying to tell me I have no understanding of European history. You talk big so let's see what you actually know. Where and what year did the events depicted in the book take place? Give me some names of those involved. Show you actually know what you're talking about.

@sciencefliestothemoon2305 Which Kaiser? 'Cos if you're talking about Wilhelm II... as for Hitler giving "everyone a job", that's not quite the point it sounds like when you realise that involved giving one load of people the job of murdering the other load.

@jim-es8qk Did... you read 1984? It's about authoritarianism. Not sure where you got your notion from.

@jim-es8qk All you're telling me right now is that you haven't read it. You don't know what you're talking about.
1
@jim-es8qk It was based on his fears of where authoritarianism would lead, yes. It's a cautionary tale, yes. But it's a fictional story. I still don't believe you've read it.
1
@jim-es8qk I'll ask again, where and when? Who? Be specific, if you know something relevant.
1
@jim-es8qk That you seem unable to answer. It's because you're a liar. You've never read the book and you're making it up as you go. Prove me wrong. I know you can't.
1
@jim-es8qk Now you're backpedalling. I already said it was a cautionary tale based on authoritarian governments of the 20th century. But you were alleging that 1984 isn't fictional. You're confused between science fiction and historical documents.
1
@jim-es8qk Nah, you're backpedalling to change what you said, you've even tried to subtly edit your comments. Which doesn't really work because YouTube then flags the comment as edited. You haven't read it. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Go read a book.

@jim-es8qk You stand by a technicality but haven't demonstrated any knowledge of the book or of European history beyond knowing the names of two authoritarians. And thinking that 1984 was documenting their regimes.
